Greenville, Meriwether County, GA (September 28, 2026) - The GBI has arrested and charged William Irving Nash, age 58, of Greenville, GA, with one count of Aggravated Child Molestation, six counts of Child Molestation, one count of Criminal Attempt to Commit Rape, one count of Criminal Attempt to Commit Aggravated Child Molestation, and one count of Criminal Attempt to Commit Child Molestation.

On Tuesday, August 18, 2026, the Meriwether County Sheriff's Office requested the GBI to assist with a child molestation case involving Nash. The investigation led to Nash’s arrest on Friday, September 25, 2026.

Nash was booked into the Meriwether County Jail.
