GBI Investigates Shooting in Dublin, GA

Dublin, Laurens County, GA (August 23, 2026) - The GBI is investigating a shooting in Dublin, GA, that left two men injured. The Dublin Police Department (DPD) requested the GBI to investigate.

On Saturday, August 22, 2026, at approximately 4:54 p.m., DPD officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 500 block of Vinson Village in Dublin. Officers discovered two men at the scene with apparent gunshot wounds. The men were transported to regional hospitals where they are being treated for their injuries.

One victim remains in serious but stable condition, while the other victim remains in serious condition.

This investigation is active and ongoing.
