Manchester, Georgia (August 1, 2024) – At the request of the Manchester Police Department, GBI agents are investigating the death of Jaquavios Carter, age 26, of Manchester, GA.

The investigation shows on July 30, 2024, at about 7:35 p.m., the Manchester Police Department was dispatched to a home on West Main Street in reference to a shooting. When officers arrived, they learned that Carter had been shot once by his brother during a domestic dispute. Carter was taken by ambulance to a local hospital where he died from his injuries.

Currently, no arrests have been made.
