Homerville, GA (April 23, 2024) - The GBI has arrested and charged Shea Foster, age 19, of Homerville, Georgia, Roma Cooper, age 34, of Homerville, Georgia, and Lenard Perkins, age 35, of Homerville, Georgia in connection to the death of Raheem Poole.  

Foster, who was wanted for Felony Murder and Aggravated Assault, turned himself in to the Clinch County Sheriff’s Office on Monday, April 22, 2024.

On April 23, 2024, the GBI arrested and charged Cooper for Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon and Making False Statements, and Perkins for Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, Making False Statements, and Tampering with Evidence.

These arrests were made with the assistance of the Homerville Police Department and the Clinch County Sheriff’s Office.

ORIGINAL RELEASE: 

Homerville, GA (April 15, 2024) – The GBI has arrested and charged Phillip White, age 33, of Homerville, GA, with Aggravated Assault in connection to the death of Raheem Poole, age 25, of Homerville, GA. Agents have also taken arrest warrants on Shea Foster, age 19, of Homerville, GA, for Felony Murder and Aggravated Assault. Foster is not in custody. 

The Homerville Police Department requested the GBI to investigate the death of Poole after they received a 911 call at about 11:50 a.m., on Sunday, April 14, 2024, about a shooting near Happyville Lane and Old Fargo Road. Officers responded and found Poole dead from suspected gunshot wounds. As a result of the investigation, White was charged for assaulting Foster prior to the shooting. He was later taken into custody without incident. Foster is still at large and may be in Homerville, Georgia, or Jacksonville, Florida. 

This investigation is active and ongoing.
