Three Men Arrested Following Drug Investigation in Milledgeville
Milledgeville,GA (February 22, 2024) – The GBI has arrested and charged Drew Charles Courtenay, age 19, of Milledgeville, GA, Joseph Michael Lombardi, age 20, of Milledgeville, GA, and Noah Boyd Petrick, age 21, of Milledgeville, GA, following a joint drug investigation. On Friday, February 16, 2024, Courtenay was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute and possession of a Schedule I controlled substance with the intent to distribute. Lombardi was arrested and charged with possession of a Schedule I controlled substance. Petrick was also arrested and charged with possession of cocaine. All charges are felony offenses.
On Friday, February 16, 2024, at about 2:20 p.m., the GBI Middle Georgia Gang Task Force (MGGTF) began a drug investigation at a fraternity house on West Montgomery Street Milledgeville, GA, with assistance from the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office, Milledgeville Police Department, Georgia College Campus Police Department, and the Georgia Department of Corrections. Earlier, agents received information that suspected drugs were shipped to the house.
After conducting surveillance and other investigative acts, agents executed a search warrant at the house. During the search, agents located a large amount of suspected marijuana, THC Vape cartridges, THC gummies, THC wax, and suspected mushrooms (Psilocybin). Agents also located a small amount of suspected powder cocaine.
Courtenay, Lombardi, and Petrick were booked into the Baldwin County Jail.
The investigation is still active and ongoing. Further arrests are pending. At the conclusion of the investigation, the case will be given to the Ocmulgee District Attorney’s Office for prosecution.
