Gainesville Man Arrested in Hall County for Trafficking Methamphetamine and Gun Charges
Hall County, GA (December 27, 2023) – The GBI has arrested and charged Fernando Martinez, age 51, of Gainesville GA, with three counts of trafficking methamphetamine and six counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony. The arrest resulted from a search warrant at Pine Circle Drive, Gainesville, GA, on December 21, 2023.
The Hall County Sheriff’s Office, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives, the Georgia State Patrol, and the Appalachian Regional Drug Enforcement Office arrested Martinez for his involvement in trafficking suspected methamphetamine and illegal firearms. This investigation lasted more than one year and led to the seizure of more than two pounds of suspected methamphetamine, seven firearms, and over $3,000. The street value of the seized methamphetamine is about $12,000.
Martinez was booked into the Hall County Jail.
This investigation is ongoing, and more arrests are expected.
