Centerville, GA (May 4, 2021) – On Tuesday, May 4, 2021, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation was requested by the Centerville Police Department to conduct a death investigation.   

Preliminary information indicates that at 8:52 a.m., the Centerville Police Department received a call in reference to a person being shot. The caller was identified as Timothy Price, age 41, of Byron, Georgia. Price reported that he had shot his wife and needed help. Price’s wife was identified as Katherine Price, age 36, of Warner Robins, Georgia. When officers arrived on scene at 100 Arbor Creek, Centerville, Houston County, Georgia, they attempted to make contact with someone inside the residence, but they did not get a response. The Centerville Police Department then requested Houston County Special Response Team (SRT) for assistance. After several attempts were made to communicate with Timothy Price, SRT entered the home and found Timothy and Katherine Price both deceased from gunshot wounds.

The bodies will be transported to the GBI Crime Lab for an autopsy.
