(Carrollton, Georgia - August 6, 2019)  –  On Tuesday, July 30, 2019, at approximately 8:00 AM, the GBI West Metro Regional Drug Enforcement Office, along with the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office, Carrollton Police Department, Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, and Haralson Paulding Drug Task Force, conducted a series of search warrants and arrest warrants resulting in the arrest of fifteen persons.  More arrest warrants are active and pending.  Search warrants related to the Distribution and Trafficking of Methamphetamines and Cocaine were executed at 157 Flat Rock Road, Villa Rica, Georgia, 121 Chaucer Lane, Carrollton, Georgia, 717 Burns Road, Apartment 3133, Carrollton, Georgia, 433 Spring Creek Way, Douglasville, Georgia, and 7510 Grayson Bridge Circle, Douglasville, Georgia.  Police seized approximately one kilogram of methamphetamine, oxycodone, cocaine, marijuana, and $8,000.00.

The investigation named “Operation Shine No More” began in July of 2018 and has expanded through this time.  The following people were arrested and processed into surrounding county jails:

Christy Joann Lindley – Age 50, Villa Rica, Paulding County Jail

Bartholomew Clay Platt – Age 37, Carrollton, Carroll County Jail

Darius Hudson-Neely – Age 32, Villa Rica, Carroll County Jail

Lebrian Lawson – Age 31, Carrollton, Carroll County Jail

Laquette Holts – Age 35, Douglasville, Carroll County Jail

Lavoie Kendall Sumlin – Age 41, Bowden, Carroll County Jail

Selena Williamson Doty – Age 41, Carrollton, Carroll County Jail

Marcus Donnell Parham – Age 38, Carrollton, Carroll County Jail

Cortney Almond – Age 37, Carrollton, Carroll County Jail
