Tifton, GA (January 10, 2019) – On Thursday, January 10, 2019, at approximately 10:51 am, Tift County 911 received a call in reference to a deceased subject found inside of a vehicle in a wooded area off of Emerson O’Bynes Avenue in Tifton, Tift County, GA. The Tift County Sheriff’s Office responded and discovered the body of Kenyada Mitchell, 18, of Tift County, deceased inside of a vehicle. The case is being investigated as a homicide at this point, by the GBI and the Tift County Sheriff’s Office.
