Canton, GA (December 19, 2018) – The Georgia Bureau of Investigation and the Canton Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in obtaining information about the fire set at the Canton Department of Community Supervision Office (Canton Probation), located at 100 Medical Lane in Canton, Georgia, between the evening of December 1, 2017, and the morning of December 4, 2017.  If you have information regarding this arson, please contact GBI Special Agent Kelly Aldrich at the GBI Cleveland Office at 706-348-4866 or contact the Georgia Arson Control Hotline at 1-800-282-5804. 

A reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons involved in this arson.

The GBI was originally requested by the Canton Police Department to assist in the investigation of an arson at the Canton Department of Community Supervision Office on December 4, 2017 at approximately 5:00 PM.  A fire was set in the front lobby area of the office and was discovered by personnel arriving for work.
