Alma, GA (October 20, 2018) – After an extensive investigation, the GBI Douglas Regional office, Alma Police Department, and the Bacon County Sheriff’s Office obtained information that led to the arrest of the following subjects in connection with the death of Sabron Markez Mosby.  
 
On Friday, October 19, 2018, GBI agents obtained arrest warrants for the following:

·Cleavonta Jerrideau 26, one count of Murder and four counts of Aggravated Assault
·Glenn Darius Smith 25, one count of Murder and four counts of Aggravated Assault
·Deangelo Deshawn Morgan 20, one count of Murder, four counts of Aggravated Assault, one count of Tampering with Evidence
·Paizsa Monei Murchinson 23, one count of Party to the crime of Murder, one count of Tampering with Evidence
 
On Monday, October 15, 2018, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) was requested by the Alma Police Department to assist with a death investigation.

On October 15, 2018, at approximately 8:50 p.m., a neighbor reported shots being fired in the area of 504 E. 8th Street, Alma, Bacon County Ga. Alma police officers arrived at the location and found Sabron Markez Mosby, 24, suffering from gunshot wounds. Mosby was transported to the Bacon County Hospital where he was pronounced dead. Mosby’s body was transported to the GBI Crime Lab in Savannah for Autopsy.

Glenn Smith and Cleavonta Jerrideau were in custody on separate charges at the time their warrants were issued. Deangelo Morgan and Paizsa Murchinson were arrested and transported to the Bacon County Jail. Cleavonta Jerrideau will have additional charges in Pierce County as a result of this investigation. The GBI Douglas office and Alma Police Department would like to thank the Pierce County ACE Unit for their assistance in this investigation.
