Johns Creek, GA – On Saturday, April 28, 2018, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) was requested by the Johns Creek Police Department to investigate an officer involved shooting.

Preliminary information indicates that at approximately 7:13 a.m., Johns Creek Police Department officers were dispatched to a call reporting that a woman had threatened a family member with a knife. Officers made contact with the woman, identified as Shukri Ali Said, age 36, near the intersection of Abbotts Bridge Road and Sweet Creek Road.  Said did not respond to officers’ commands to drop the knife she was carrying.
