Stapleton, Glascock County, Georgia- January 3, 2018

On Wednesday, January 3, 2018, at approximately 4:30 p.m., the Glascock County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call regarding an individual shooting a firearm at another individual on Highway 80 in Stapleton, Glascock County, Georgia.  Glascock County Deputies responded and identified Hubert Lambert, age 61, was shooting a firearm at Ronald Harris, age 38, at Lambert’s residence located on Highway 80.

At approximately 4:35 p.m., Glascock County Sheriff’s Office requested the assistance of the GBI Region 7 Office regarding the aggravated assault investigation.  GBI and Glascock County Sheriff’s Office Deputies began conducting interviews reference this investigation.  Preliminary investigation revealed Hubert Lambert shot his firearm at Ronald Harris.  No one sustained any injuries. 

On Wednesday, January 3, 2018, at approximately 9:00 p.m., Hubert Lambert was arrested for Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon and Aggravated Assault against the victim, Ronald Harris.  Lambert was transported to the McDuffie County Sheriff’s Office Detention Center.
