Arlington, Ga- On Monday, September 5, 2017, the Arlington Police Department requested the assistance of the GBI Sylvester Regional Office with a suspected homicide investigation. The incident occurred at 18349 Morgan Rd., APT 3 in Arlington, Calhoun County, GA. The victim, who has been identified as 47 year old, Lashanda Reid was found deceased outside of her residence. Reid suffered from what appeared to be multiple sharp force trauma wounds. Reid’s body will be sent to the GBI Crime Lab where an autopsy will be performed.

As a result of the investigation 42 year old, Australia Tammy Martin has been charged with one count of Felony Murder as well as one count of Aggravated Assault. Martin has been booked in to the Calhoun County Jail.
