Hawkinsville, Georgia –  The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) and the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office are investigating a double murder.  On Tuesday, June 27, 2017, at approximately 12:19 a.m., 911 received a call reporting two men dead at the intersection of Woods Road and Sandridge Church Road.  The victims are identified as Kelvin Jurand Thompson, 22, of Forsyth, GA, and Robdreckious Jamal Quainton, 23, of Warner Robins, GA.  Preliminary indication is the two died of gunshot wounds. Autopsies will be conducted at the GBI Crime Lab in Macon.

Dennis Sharod Penix, 24, of Eastman, GA has been arrested and charged with two counts of malice murder.  Penix was arrested in Macon by the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office and the Southeastern Regional Fugitive Task Force.
