Murray County, Georgia –  On Wednesday, October 5, 2016, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) and the Murray County Sheriff’s Office arrested Teodoro “Miguel” Rosas-Santos, age 37, on a charge of one count of murder for the death of Isaiah Rosas (23 mo.).

 On Wednesday, January 13, 2016, the GBI was requested to assist the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with a death investigation involving 23 month old Isaiah Rosas of Chatsworth, GA.  The child had been found deceased by his mother, Melissa Garner, after returning home from work and taking other children in the home to school.  While conducting the investigation, it was determined that Rosas’ death was a result of asphyxia caused by Rosas’ father, Teodoro “Miguel” Rosas-Santos.  The charge of murder was filed after consulting with the District Attorney’s Office.

 Teodoro Rosas-Santos was taken into custody without incident and is currently incarcerated at the Murray County Jail.
