Morrow, GA – The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is seeking the public’s help in locating a witness to the shooting death of Ty’ron Davis. This incident occurred at the Clayton Station Apartments at Clayton State University on November 9, 2015 at approximately 8:15 p.m. 

The Department of Public Safety at Clayton State University was dispatched to the Clayton Station Apartments at 5809 N. Lake Drive in Morrow, Georgia concerning a 911 call indicating that there were gunshots heard at that location.  Upon the officers’ arrival, Davis was discovered lying in the breezeway of the apartment building with at least one suspected gunshot wound.  Davis was transported by ambulance to Southern Regional Medical Center where he died as a result of his injuries.

The GBI has identified Larenzo Marcel Drayton, age 23, as a witness who would help resolve this investigation.  Drayton most recently lived in Hampton, Georgia and is believed to still be in the Hampton / Clayton County area.  Drayton owns a silver 2015 Chrysler 200 bearing Georgia tag number CDR3869.
