Sparks, GA – Vernon Goodwin, Jr., 24, was arrested on April 24 for the murder of Adam Robinson.  Robinson was murdered on March 1 in Cook County just inside the city limits of Sparks.   Goodwin has been charged with Murder, Armed Robbery, and Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Crime.

Police are also looking for Daylan Keeley, 21, who has also been charged with the murder of Adam Robinson. Other warrants have been obtained for Keeley charging him with Armed Robbery and Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Crime.  Anyone with information on Keeley’s whereabouts can contact Cook County 911 at 229-896-8722. 

The Sparks Police Department requested the GBI‘s assistance in the investigation of Robinson’s murder. GBI Agents, Sparks Police and Cook County Sheriff’s Office investigators continue to work the investigation.  GBI agents and Cook County Deputies were assisted by the Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office during Goodwin’s arrest which occurred at a residence in Valdosta.
