Adel, GA - On Monday, December 1, 2014, William Lavon Parrish, 32 years of age, was arrested in Nashville, Georgia by GBI and Nashville Police Department on two Cook County  felony child molestation warrants obtained by the GBI. The Cook County Sheriff’s Office had requested the GBI on December 5, 2013 to assist in the investigation following allegations made in a report to the Cook County Sheriff’s Office.

The investigation revealed that the suspect knew and was familiar with the victim and the molestations occurred sometime between January 1, 2011 to December 5, 2013 while the suspect resided in Cook County. The suspect was currently residing in Nashville, Berrien County at the time of his arrest.
