Gainesville, GA – The GBI executed search warrants yesterday at 322 Spring Street in Gainesville and 330 Dahlonega Street in Cumming as part of an investigation of New Hope Counseling of Gainesville and Cumming. Enotah Judicial Circuit Superior Court Judge Raymond George requested the GBI conduct an investigation into equipment and supplies purchased by New Hope but not provided to the Enotah Judicial Circuit Accountability Courts.  New Hope provides group counseling and drug testing services to the Enotah Judicial Circuit Accountability Courts. Judge George recognized the accountability courts in Lumpkin and Union Counties were operating with minimal supplies and equipment and found information which caused him concern leading him to request the GBI investigation on September 13, 2013.
