Dawson, GA – As result of the ongoing investigation by the Dawson Police Department and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation into the murder of Walter Bell, four men have been arrested in connection with this case.

On Wednesday, September 21, 2011, law enforcement officers from the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, Dawson Police Department, and the State Probation Department (Dawson Office) executed multiple felony arrest warrants for the following individuals:

• Christopher Buffin, 23
• 410 Cherry Alley
• Dawson, GA

• Bryant Hughley, 23
• 196 Clay Alley
• Dawson, GA

• Dominique Polite, 29
• 316 7th Avenue
• Dawson, GA

• Machino Hudson, 30
• 1757 Columbus Hwy. Lot 27
• Dawson, GA

All have all been charged with first degree arson, felony murder, malice murder, armed robbery, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime. 
They are being held at the Terrell County Jail.

Bell’s body was discovered Thursday, September 15, behind his residence in Dawson.

The investigation by the GBI and the Dawson Police Department continues.
