Jefferson, Georgia – The Jefferson Police Department, the Athens-CLarke County Police Department and the GBI are asking the public’s help in locating Anthony Tyrone Appling, wanted in connection with the early morning murder of a woman whom he knew in Jefferson.

Appling, 42,  is a  Black Male, 5'10 tall and weighs 270lbs and should be considered armed and dangerous. He was last seen in Athens where the victim’s vehicle was recovered.
