DOUGLASVILLE, GA - As result of a search warrant executed on Thursday, May 27, 2010, by GBI Agents with the High Technology Investigations Unit/Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force and officers with the Douglasville Police Department, John Michael Paschal has been charged with distribution of child pornography and possession of child pornography. 

The search was based on an investigation conducted by the Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) Unit in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.  An undercover agent with the Saskatchewan ICE Unit downloaded multiple images of suspected child pornography from a user who was identified as possibly residing in Douglasville, Georgia. 

The investigation was referred to the GBI, which identified the user’s address through subpoena records as 7050 Stone Creek Drive, Douglasville, GA.  During the on-site forensic preview of a computer in the residence, multiple movie and image files of suspected child pornography were located.  Paschal, 26, the computer’s primary user, was interviewed at the Douglasville Police Department where agents obtained four warrants for Paschal’s arrest.(3 counts of Distribution of Child Pornography and 1 count of Possession of Child Pornography).
