On Wednesday evening, September 30, 2009, the GBI Region 2 office in Columbus and the Harris County Sheriff’s Department arrested HAROLD WILLIAM KELLEY, 56 yoa, on 16 counts of Child Molestation. KELLEY is a registered sex offender and was released from prison in February 2001 after serving a 10 year sentence for Child Molestation, Incest and Sodomy.

KELLEY was charged with the multiple counts after an investigation was initiated in June 2009 regarding allegations that KELLEY engaged in sexual contact with two female children. KELLEY knew both of the children. Investigation revealed the incidents occurred at his residence, 11307 Hwy 116, Hamilton, Ga. and another residence inside of Harris County. The incidents occurred on multiple occasions over a period of several years. KELLEY was also charged with Possession of a Firearm by a convicted felon after a firearm was found at his residence at the time of his arrest.
