Following Search Warrant in South Fulton: One Arrested on Drug and Weapons Charges
South Fulton, GA (September 20, 2019) – On September 18, 2019, agents of the GBI Gang Task Force, West Metro Regional Drug Enforcement Office, City of South Fulton Police Department, and Atlanta Police Department K-9, executed a search warrant in the City of South Fulton, GA.
Through this collaborative law enforcement investigation, officers arrested Rodney Jermaine Brown, 43, of Marietta, GA. Brown is charged with one count of Trafficking Heroin, two counts of Trafficking Methamphetamine, one count of Possession of Marijuana with the Intent to Distribute, and three counts of Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of Certain Felonies.
Seized were approximately 761 grams of suspected heroin believed to be mixed with fentanyl, approximately 270 grams of suspected methamphetamine, approximately 59 grams of suspected marijuana, approximately $2,000 U.S. Currency, and three firearms. The investigation continues.
