GBI Arrests Two People in Toccoa Shooting
(Toccoa, Georgia) August 10, 2018 – The GBI has charged two people in connection with the shooting of Spencer Reason, 17, of Toccoa. Between August 8-9, 2018, Kentavius Walker, 21, of Toccoa and Samantha Breanna George, 17, of Toccoa were arrested for aggravated assault.
The shooting incident took place the night of July 26, 2018 on Prather’s Bridge Road. At approximately 9:30 PM, the GBI Cleveland Office was requested to assist the Toccoa Police Department with the shooting investigation of a young man in Toccoa, Stephens County, Georgia. Reason was shot multiple times and was hospitalized as a result of his injuries. Toccoa PD Investigators and GBI Agents worked diligently to follow leads in this case which resulted in the arrest of the responsible parties.
This investigation is ongoing and upon completion, the case will be provided to the Mountain Judicial Circuit District Attorney for prosecution.
