**Update** One Arrest made in Mt. Vernon Murder Investigation
Mt. Vernon, GA (9/30/2017) – Khalif Wagner, 19, turned himself in at the Toombs County Sheriff's Office last night in Vidalia. Toombs County Sheriff Alvie Kight was instrumental in negotiating Khalif Wagner's surrender.

Mt. Vernon, GA (9/29/2017) – Arrest warrants have been issued for two men in the shooting death of Brewton Parker College student Stevenson Derival and the wounding of another man. Khalil and Khalif Wagner, 19-year-old non-identical twin brothers, are wanted for multiple charges including murder and aggravated assault (see attached photos). The Wagner brothers are from Vidalia, GA.

Mt. Vernon, GA (9/25/2017) – The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) along with Mt. Vernon Police Department (MVPD) are investigating a shooting death that occurred at 1106 Walker Street on Sunday, September 24, 2017, at approximately 1:30 AM. At the time of the shooting, a party was occurring in and around the residence located at that address. During the gathering, a confrontation occurred between an unidentified man and Brewton Parker College student Stevenson Derival, age 20, of Decatur, GA. The unidentified man produced a handgun, shot Derival, and left the scene. Jabari Bridges, age 22, of Miami, was also shot and wounded by the perpetrator and sustained non-life threatening injuries. Bridges is also a student at Brewton Parker College.
The GBI and MVPD are requesting assistance in identifying the shooter. Anyone with information is asked to call the GBI office in Eastman at (478) 374-6988.
