Thomson, GA – Two Thomson men have been arrested in connection with an early morning shooting that occurred in the 500 block of Knox Street in Thomson. Fornzcia Huff, 22, and Casey Williams, 20, were taken into custody shortly after the incident and are currently being held at the McDuffie County Jail. Fornzcia is charged with one count each of Aggravated Assault and Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony. Williams is charged with one count each of Aggravated Assault, Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony, and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon. 

On Thursday, August 10, 2017, at approximately 2:30 AM, the GBI was requested to assist the Thomson Police Department with a shooting that occurred at a residence in the 500 block of Knox Street. At approximately 1:15 AM, officers with the Thomson Police Department were dispatched to the Knox Street residence in reference to a shots fired call. The GBI Region 7 Field Office responded and began conducting an investigation. Preliminary information indicates that a domestic disturbance took place at the Knox Street residence that resulted in the shooting incident. There were no injuries reported during the incident. The investigation is ongoing.
