NEWNAN, GA - As result of a search warrant executed on Thursday, June 17, 2010, by GBI Agents with the High Technology Investigations Unit and officers with the Newnan Police Department, Curtis Arnold II has been charged with possession of child pornography. 

The investigation into Arnold was based on information provided to the GBI by the Bergen County, New Jersey, Prosecutor’s Office regarding an individual who was distributing several files of suspected child pornography via the Internet.

GBI agents identified the individual’s address through subpoena records as 1407 Lullwater Circle, Newnan, GA.  During the on-site forensic preview of computers in the residence, over 175 images of suspected child pornography were discovered with several thousand more expected. Agents seized several computers, one external hard drive, and two compact discs, all containing suspected images of child pornography.

Arnold, 27, was arrested without incident and charged with one count of Sexual Exploitation of Children (possession of child pornography); O.C.G.A 16-12-100.
