Douglas, GA - On Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at approximately 11:30 am, GBI agents and Coffee County investigators arrested Allen Dewayne Tucker, 22, for the death of Gabriel Demetrius Douglas.  Tucker was charged with one count of Murder and 5 counts of Aggravated Assault.  Tucker is currently being held in the Coffee County Jail.

On Saturday, December 5, 2015, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation’s Douglas Regional Office was requested by the Coffee County Sheriff’s Office to assist in a homicide investigation that resulted in the death of Gabriel Demetrius Douglas, age 19. 

On Saturday, December 5, 2015 at approximately 1:00 AM, deputies with the Coffee County Sheriff’s Office responded to 3045 Highway 41 South, Douglas, Georgia in reference to a report of a shooting.  Upon arrival, deputies found Douglas suffering from a gunshot wound.  Douglas was transported to Coffee Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
