Kingsland, Georgia - On September 10, 2015 the GBI Kingsland Regional Office was requested by the Kingsland Police Department to investigate allegations of criminal activity associated with members of the Camden County High School football team allegedly assaulting one of their teammates as coaches looked on.  The incident was captured on video by one of the teammates and was released on social media. As a result of this request, the GBI has launched a criminal investigation into this incident. The GBI investigation is a fact finding search for the truth to uncover any criminal violations that may have occurred during the incident.

When the investigation is complete it will be turned over to the District Attorney’s Office for any action they deem appropriate.
