Sylvester, GA – On August 17, 2015, Georgia Bureau of Investigation Region 15 agents were requested by Sheriff Jeff Hobby to investigate the death of a two year old child at 3410 Highway 112, Sylvester. The child, Raelynn Huff, was discovered unresponsive in her room by her mother, Jamie Jacobs and her stepfather, Lonnie Jacobs. At the recommendation of District Attorney Paul Bowden, arrest warrants were issued for Jamie Jacobs and Lonnie Jacobs on charges of Murder in the Second Degree and Cruelty to Children in the Second Degree. On August 26, 2015, GBI agents and Worth County Deputies arrested Jamie and Lonnie Jacobs who were booked into the Worth County Jail.
