Sylvester, GA – On August 17, 2015, Worth County Sheriff Jeff Hobby requested the Georgia Bureau of Investigation assist with a death investigation involving a two year old child. At approximately 1:00 p.m., Worth County 911 received a call regarding a child who was not breathing at 3410 Highway 112, Sylvester. The child, Raelynn Huff, was discovered in her room by her mother, Jamie Jacobs and her stepfather, Lonnie Jacobs. Paramedics and the Worth County Sheriff’s Office responded to the residence and found the child unresponsive. The child’s death is under investigation and pending autopsy by the GBI Medical Examiner’s Office.
