Villa Rica, GA - On Monday March 9th, 2015, at approximately 2:30 PM., members of the GBI West Metro Regional Drug Enforcement Office executed a search warrant at 2045 Reflective Waters Road in Villa Rica, the residence of Rico Perell Arnold, 28. Prior to the execution of the search warrant, Arnold was arrested at the Publix shopping center off of Mirror Lakes Blvd in Villa Rica on arrest warrants for Sale of Marijuana.

Arnold was transported back to the residence where a search of the residence ensued. During the course of the search a felony amount of marijuana was discovered along with digital scales and packaging materials. Arnold had outstanding charges for a probation violation out of Pinellas County Florida. Arnold was subsequently charged with Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute. No one else was charged in this case.  The case has been forwarded to the Douglas County District Attorney’s Office for prosecution.

The GBI West Metro Regional Drug Enforcement Office is located in Carrollton, Georgia and services 26 counties. The office is comprised of members from the GBI, Carrollton PD, Villa Rica PD, Bowden PD, LaGrange PD, Atlanta PD, Peachtree City PD, Fulton County PD, Carroll County SO, and Heard County SO.
