Moultrie, GA - On Monday, January 12, 2015, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation announces that an arrest has been made in the death of Terrell Hawkins, 36, of 1428 Hutchinson Drive, Moultrie. GBI Special Agent in Charge Steve Turner reports that the United States Marshall’s Service located and arrested Ponikarski Green, 32, of Moultrie, in Broward County, Florida; for Murder and Aggravated Assault. Hawkins’ was shot to death on January 6, 2015, at approximately 11:00 PM, at 620 3rd Ave., SW, Moultrie. Also shot at the same time and location was Alexis Davis, 26, of Moultrie.

The GBI was able to obtain Green’s location due to information received on his whereabouts. The GBI and Moultrie Police Department have been working this investigation jointly with the Marshall’s Service since the shooting.
