On Thursday, October 9, 2014, at 6:00 PM Miller County Deputy Sheriff Scott Cleveland, was arrested at the Miller County Sheriff’s Office, by Agents with the Georgia Bureau of Investigation. Cleveland, who is 32 years of age, is a resident of Miller County. Cleveland has been charged with Aggravated Child Molestation and Statutory Rape. The charges stem from a three week investigation by the GBI and the allegations include relations with a 15 year old victim. Pataula Circuit District Attorney Craig Ernest requested the investigation.

Further charges could be pending in the continuing investigation.
