Wilcox County, Rochelle, Georgia (July 24, 2024) - The GBI has arrested and charged Lorenzo Dennard, age 34, of Atkinson County, GA, with 77 counts of Sexual Exploitation of Children, 3 counts of Electronically Furnishing Obscene Material to a Minor, and 1 count of Improper Sexual Contact by an Employee.

On Friday, June 21, 2024, the Wilcox County Sheriff’s Office asked the GBI to investigate allegations that Dennard, a former Wilcox County teacher and coach, had an inappropriate relationship with a former student.

Dennard was booked at the Wilcox County Jail and released on bond.
