GBI Investigates Shooting in Baldwin County

Milledgeville, GA (10/26/2023) – On Thursday, October 26, 2023, at about 9:00 a.m., the GBI arrested Herbert Lee Ingram, Jr. for Aggravated Assault in Milledgeville, Baldwin County, Georgia. Ingram was booked into the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Detention Office.

Milledgeville, GA (October 23, 2023) – The GBI is conducting a shooting investigation at the request of the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office after an incident that occurred in Milledgeville, Georgia over the weekend, in which Brandon Davis, age 43, of Milledgeville, GA was shot and injured.
On Saturday, October 21, 2023, at around 7:40 p.m., the Baldwin County 911 center received a call requesting someone check their property on Pettigrew Road in Milledgeville, Georgia. The caller stated they believed a person was on their property who was not supposed to be there. Baldwin County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the home and did not see anyone. At around 8:20 p.m., the Baldwin County 911 center received another call advising Davis had been shot. The person who shot Davis has been identified as Lee Ingram, age 36, of Milledgeville, GA. It was later determined that Davis and Ingram are neighbors.
Agents are working with the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office to gather all the details. At this time, agents have not taken any arrest warrants.
