Arrest Made in Millen Shooting Investigation
Millen, GA (March 23, 2020) – On Sunday, March 22, 2020, Gregory Tremone Griffin, 33, was arrested by the Millen Police Department and Jenkins County Sheriff’s Office. Griffin will be charged by the GBI with Murder and Aggravated Assault in connection to the shooting of his brother and father.
Earlier the same date, the GBI was requested by the Millen Police Department to assist in an investigation. The preliminary investigation reveals that Gregory Tremone Griffin, 33, of Millen, shot his brother, Demirio Griffin, 39, and his father, Gregory Griffin, 58, while located inside a residence in Millen, GA following a domestic argument between family members. Demirio Griffin died as a result of the gunshot wound and an autopsy will be performed on March 23, 2020 at the GBI crime lab in Decatur, GA. The father, Gregory Griffin, is currently in critical condition and receiving medical attention.
The investigation continues and will be turned over to the Ogeechee Circuit District Attorney.
