Arrest Made in Screven County Child Molestation and Public Indecency Investigation

Sylvania, GA (March 3, 2020) – On February 27, 2020, Herman Adamson, age 64, of Screven County, Georgia, was arrested by the Screven County Sheriff’s Office and the GBI for four (4) counts of Child Molestation and seven (7) counts of Public Indecency stemming from a GBI and Screven County Sheriff’s Office investigation.  On February 26, 2020, the Screven County Sheriff’s Office requested that the GBI assist in the investigation of multiple allegations of indecent exposure. Witnesses reported that Adamson was exposing himself to children playing in a neighborhood. The preliminary investigation revealed Adamson knowingly exposed himself in a lewd manner to children and adults on multiple occasions.  

The case will be turned over to the Ogeechee Circuit District Attorney for review.
