UPDATE: GBI Investigates Death in Coffee County
Douglas, GA (February 21, 2020)- On Wednesday, February 19 and Thursday, February 20, 2020, GBI Douglas agents along with Coffee County investigators made arrests in the death of Christopher Anthony Woolf. The following individuals were arrested and charged with one count of Murder:
Ankevis Kanye Burgman, 19
Marquez Charron Floyd, 17
Two Juveniles were also arrested on February 19, 2020 and both were charged with one count of Murder. Burgman and Floyd are being held at the Coffee County Jail. The Juveniles are being held by the Department of Juvenile Justice. Additional felony charges are expected to be brought forward in this case.

Douglas, GA (February 18, 2020) – On Monday, February 10, 2020, the GBI’s Douglas Regional Office received a request from the Coffee County Sheriff’s Office to assist with a death investigation.
On Thursday, February 6, 2020, at approximately 11:10 p.m., the Coffee County Sheriff’s Office responded to 2225 Highway 221 N, Douglas, Coffee County, Georgia, in reference to a person found deceased. The individual was determined to be Christopher Anthony Woolf, 27. Woolf lived in an apartment above Papa’s Gun Shop in the Oak Park Community. Woolf’s death is being investigated as a homicide.
