INFANT FOUND UNRESPONSIVE AT RESIDENCE
Sparks, GA- On Sunday, September 15, 2013, at approximately 11:00 p.m., Cook County and Sparks Police were called to a residence on North College Street in Sparks, Cook County Ga., where a 4 ½ month old male infant was found unresponsive. The infant lived at the residence with his parents. The infant was transported to the Memorial Hospital of Adel where he was pronounced dead. The GBI Douglas office was contacted and requested to assist in the investigation.
An autopsy will be conducted by the GBI Crime Lab on Tuesday, September, 17, 2013 to help determine the cause and manner of death.
The investigation is still on-going; therefore no other details will be released at this time. The investigation is being conducted by Sparks P.D. and the GBI.
