The Georgia Bureau of Investigation Regional Investigative Office (Region 7) in Thomson and the Warren County Sheriff’s Office are investigating the homicides of Cheryl Newsome and Troy Bennett. On Monday, August 3, 2020, Newsome and Bennett were found dead inside their home located at 5191 Mitchell Road, Mitchell, Warren County, Georgia.

 

A reward of $10,000 is being offered for the apprehension and prosecution of the person(s) responsible for their deaths.
