Other Crimes
The following individual is wanted in connection with bank robberies in Clayton, Hiawassee, and Young-Harris. Subject has claimed to have a gun, but has not shown any weapons. Subject is possibly traveling in a red pickup truck with a Georgia license plate. The subject has worn a baseball cap and sunglasses during each robbery.

The Habersham County Sheriff’s Office and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) are seeking the public’s help in identifying two men in connection with an armed robbery at a Clarkesville pawn shop. (See photographs.) The robbery took place on July 1 at Clarkesville Pawn & Sales, located on Highway 441 in unincorporated Habersham County .

On April 13, 2006, a homeowner interrupted a burglary in progress at his residence on State Hwy. 203 in southern Appling County, Georgia, and was robbed and shot by the offneder. Physical descriptions along with other similarities lead authorities to believe that the same man committed a bank robbery in Banks County, Georgia on September 17, 2004, and an attempted bank robbery in Washington, Georgia on September 23, 2004.

On Monday, June 30, 2003, a slender black male, between 5'9" and six feet tall, robbed the Merchants and Farmers Bank in Danielsville, Georgia. On Thursday, October 9, 1997, three people entered the Sunrise Food Store located at the intersection of Highways 77 and 15, Siloam, Georgia and robbed the cashier at gun-point of an undisclosed amount of cash.
