Thomson, GA. – On Monday, November 9, 2015, the GBI was requested to assist the McDuffie County Sheriff’s Office with an investigation involving an allegation of sexual contact between a Thomson High School teacher and a student enrolled at the school. The GBI Region 7 Field Office began an investigation and as a result Jennifer McCall Hubert, 37 years old, was charged with one felony count of Sexual Assault By Persons with Supervisory or Disciplinary Authority. Hubert was taken into custody earlier today at Thomson High School without incident. She is currently being held at the McDuffie County Sheriff’s Office Detention Center. The investigation is ongoing and upon its completion will be turned over to the Toombs Judicial Circuit District Attorney’s Office.
