Decatur, GA. – An autopsy examination of Javonta Darden was completed by the GBI Crime Lab on October 1. The preliminary findings are that the cause of death was multiple gunshot wounds. Darden was shot two times in the front abdomen and once in the left arm.

Darden was shot during an altercation which occurred during an ATF investigation on September 30 in Athens, GA.
