Autopsy Completed on Michaele Carnahan
Decatur – An autopsy conducted this morning by Georgia Bureau of Investigation Deputy Chief Medical Examiner Dr. Jacqueline Martin has disclosed that Michaele Carnahan died from a heart abnormality. Ms. Carnahan’s body was discovered yesterday in a restroom of a Delta flight that had originated in California.
According to Georgia’s Chief Medical Examiner Dr. Kris Sperry, a pre-existing heart condition is responsible for her sudden, natural death. Dr. Sperry said that Ms. Carnahan, of Ventura California, was undergoing evaluation by her personal physician for suspected heart problems. Dr. Sperry also indicated that there was no evidence of blood clots in her lungs.
The specific nature of the heart disease will be determined later after further examination of the heart microscopically.
