Cleveland, GA. – Today at 2:00 p.m., GBI agents from the Cleveland office met with Brian Rickman, District Attorney of the Mountain Judicial Circuit. During the meeting, Rickman requested the GBI investigate the incident that occurred on May 28 in Habersham County where 19-month-old Bounkham Phonesavanh was injured during the execution of a search warrant at 182 Lakeview Heights, Cornelia, Georgia. Rickman requested the GBI investigate the incident to determine if the child's injuries were the result of a criminal act.
