Toccoa, GA –  Bobby Byargeon, 57, of Toccoa has been charged with Aggravated Child Molestation and related charges. On March 27th the Toccoa Police Department requested the GBI assist with an investigation of Byargeon after a victim came forward alleging Byargeon had been molesting them for over a year. Byargeon's residence was searched for evidence related to the allegations. The GBI obtained ten arrest warrants for Byargeon as a result of the investigation which was a cooperative effort with the Toccoa Police Department and the Stephens County Sheriff’s Office.

Byargeon, who has worked as a jailer in Stephens County for seven months, is being held in the Rabun County jail.
