Thank you for your interest in submitting an application to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) for a cold case review under the provisions of the Coleman-Baker (Act).
Only applications that meet the criteria for a case file review under the Act may be accepted by the GBI.
*A designated person is a parent, parent-in-law, grandparent, grandparent in-law, sibling, spouse, child, stepchild of a victim, any person who exercised in loco parentis control over a victim under the age of 18 years, or their designated attorney in good standing with the State Bar of Georgia.
If an application does not meet any of the above criteria, the GBI may not accept the application under the provisions of the Act. If you believe your application meets all the above criteria, please submit the Coleman-Baker Act electronic application below.
